Stockholm-Bromma (Oct. 9, 2018) -Tamarack Aerospace Group announced today that it has approved Bromma Air Maintenance Sweden as an authorized installer of its ATLAS ® Active Winglets for the Cessna Citation business jet line.

Tamarack Active Winglets are the only aerodynamic technology on the market today that can reduce time to climb and fuel burn, while increasing range and aircraft stability, without any structural reinforcement, yielding significant time and cost savings. Tamarack Active Winglets are approved via EASA, FAA, ANAC and Transport Canada Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for installation on the Cessna CJ, CJ1, CJ1+, M2, CJ2, CJ2+, CJ3 and CJ3+ business jets.

Bromma Air Maintenance (BAM) proudly announces the delivery of the BAM350 Eagle Eye to the Estonian Police and Border Guard, a project performed in close cooperation with ST Airborne Systems.

The aircraft has undergone extensive modification to fullfil its role as a surveillance aircraft. BAM holds the EASA STC for the installation on Textron B300 aircraft. In the interior it has been fitted with two operator consoles, two observer seats an equipment rack. A pod under the aircraft houses the search radar, EO/IR sensor and the IR/UV scanner.  The SLAR antenna is installed under the tail of the aircraft and BAM has also installed antennas for SATCOM and AIS. The aircraft has been painted in the colors of the Estonian Police and Border Guard.

The Ministry of Interior of Estonia has decided to purchase a new MSS 7000 equipped aircraft from Bromma Air Maintenance AB.

Bromma Air Maintenance AB will purchase, modify and equip an aircraft of the type Beech King Air 350i The aircraft will be used for environmental patrol and aerial surveillance of the sea areas under Estonian responsibility. Delivery to the Estonian Border Guard is planned to mid-2018.

Bromma Air Maintenance AB declares that they won the contract for heavy maintenance on the Air Force’s four SAAB 340. The period for appeal has expired and the contract was signed on July 3 which commences immediately and will initially run for 1.5 years. The contract may be extended via options to comprise a total of 4.5 years. During the procurement process, we have obtained a military RML approval.
