BAM’s wall-mount holds the Aircare Firesock® within reach, so the crew can deploy it quickly if a personal electronic device or spare lithium battery overheats in flight. Lithium-battery fires are a recognised in-flight risk, and the Aircare Firesock® is designed to contain that risk.

How it works The mount installs horizontally or vertically with two screws through a fixed base, fastened with the included doubler, so it suits a range of cabin locations. The Firesock® is released or stowed one-handed — press and hold the plastic clip and pull the bag out, or push it back in. At just 0.204 kg (0.45 lb), it adds negligible weight.
