What we build and test

STATIC STRUCTURAL TESTING

We build the rig around your test article and run the test. Work is carried out in our own workshop, or at a partner laboratory when the loads call for it.

FROM DRAWING TO DATA

Send us the test article, or the drawing of it, and the load case you need to prove. We come back with a rig concept and a price. We build the fixtures, run the test and hand over the data. If you want the report written as well, our design organisation can do that.

LEAD TIME

We can normally start within a week. From there it depends on your article, a simple fixture is ready in days, a large rig takes longer. You get that answer before you commit. Once the rig is built, the test itself is quick.

TEST SPECIMENS

Need samples for flammability testing? We make them, cut and prepared to the required spec, then sent straight to the test facility. Specimens can be ordered on their own, or as part of a wider programme.

Suppliers rarely sell material in the quantities a test specimen needs. We can source it for you, or cut specimens from material we already hold.

Dimensions, thickness, edge finish and conditioning all follow the standard. A specimen that is slightly off is either rejected by the laboratory or produces a result you cannot use.

We can also help work out which flammability requirements apply to your part, and specify the test. The facility runs the burn test itself.
