H145 Auxiliary Fuel Tank System – 140L Carbon Composite Fuel Cell
Certified auxiliary fuel capacity for real-world operations.
BAM’s H145 Auxiliary Fuel Tank System adds 140 litres of usable fuel to extend range and endurance for time-critical and long-distance missions, without taking the aircraft out of its operational role.
The Auxiliary Fuel Tank System gives the H145 approximately 25 minutes of additional endurance and up to around 100 km of extra range — enough to reach a further scene, hold longer on station, or skip an intermediate refuelling stop. (Figures are estimates based on typical cruise fuel burn; actual performance depends on mission profile and conditions.)

How it works The system is built around a 140-litre foam-filled flexible fuel cell housed inside a carbon-fibre, vapour-proof container, mounted on the right-hand aft cabin seat rails and fixed at installation. A carbon-fibre filler panel replaces the RH aft window, and refuelling is handled through an external RH-side refuelling point. Once the main fuel drops below a set threshold, fuel transfers automatically to the main tanks by gravity feed — keeping crew workload to a minimum — with fuel level shown directly on the Helionix VMD.
Installation uses the Airbus provisions for internal long-range fuel tanks together with OEM-provided fittings, for a plug-and-play fit that integrates cleanly with the airframe.
